Earlier in 2020, I went through a difficult breakup that led me to become underweight due to the high level of stress I endured. After a challenging year, we had all encountered. I realized that self-care is a necessity for all. My passion for knowing more about the different aspects of self-care allowed me to develop a stronger sense of what self-love truly represents. I aspired to build a brand that further conveys a strong message about personal care and how it betters all aspects of your life. 

It’s easy to lose direction when working, taking care of family, or other responsibilities; I know that feeling. I started losing myself when keeping busy by taking care of others. After a while, I was always running out of energy. It really started to take a toll on my mental health. At one point in time I was about 100 lbs. It made me feel insecure. I quickly realized that in order to be at my best physically, I needed to take care of myself mentally. 

I started doing various things to take care of myself. It became a realization that the sexier I felt, the more confident I was in everything I did. Wearing a robe around the house, allowed me to be comfortable no matter my weight but also helped me feel beautiful with one on. 

I created a brand that reflected on my everyday struggles. I battled not only with my weight but my mental health. I found wearing a satin robe helps make my life easier. The fabric feels amazing against the skin. It’s perfect for those days when I want to pamper myself. Today, I appreciate that it’s a luxury to be at my best. A luxury to take care of myself. Watering myself has allowed me to evolve. Satin robes quickly became the perfect addition to my daily care routine.

As a Black woman-owned brand, my goal is to empower women. All shapes and sizes to feel gorgeous. To know they deserve to spoil themselves. I hope to inspire all to understand the different forms of self-care that bring you peace! My company is here to help you on this journey! Find yourself and know that it is a luxury to do it!
